Step 1:
Pour the sugar into a larger bowl than you need, so you have plenty of room to mix. Add water and use a fork to blend sugar. Step 2:
Once you've reached the ideal texture, use a spoon to transfer it to the mold. Scoop some sugar into the mold and press down. Pack the sugar very firmly -- put it in the mold as much as possible.
Step 3:
Now, it's a waiting game. Let the cube sit at room temperature for a few hours or a night so they can harden. Basically, you just make sugar do what you don't want your red sugar bag to do: harden.
Step 4:
Turn the molded sugar (or diamond, etc.) from the mold. They should be able to come out easily.
